13 Months

It's hard to believe Caroline is 13 months old today! She now has 6 teeth that she is proudly displaying. Well, we think there are 6. Number 6 popped out the other day, but somestimes they go out and back in before they finally decide to come out all the way! She is surprising us with new tricks every day. She can now point to 7 different body parts! For those of you who haven't heard she jumped out of her crib during naptime a few weeks ago even though it had already been lowered down to the second lowest rung...little monkey! Her favorite trick is still getting a bone out of the kitchen cabinet and taking it over to the back door and waiting for someone to open it so she can give it to the dog. It's tickle time!

Caroline loves climbing up and down the stairs!

Here she is trying to lift Mommy's weights. Sorry, Sweetie, those things combined weigh more than you do! She was just shy of 19 pounds and 30 inches at her 1 year well check. She's skinny, but tall! :)

Baby Lela has started staying with us once a week, and Caroline loves to help take care of her. She loves to shower her with hugs and kisses.

She'll bring her books to read...And she'll even comfort her when she's upset. Caroline's new favorite nightly activity is to share an orange with her daddy. She will tear into it and absolutely devour it! She is also obsessed with bananas now, too. The last few days she would get so mad if I didn't give her a banana at breakfast. I'd ask her if she wanted a banana and she'd start screaming, "nanas, nanas!"

Caroline's Great Grandma bought her this dress for Christmas. Isn't it pretty?

Now that we have the swing back out for Lela, Caroline likes to play in it when she's not around. I can't believe how much she's grown since she used to swing in it!
