21 Months

Caroline turned 21 months yesterday! She and I went with Mom and Dad up to Cooleemee, NC (a town I didn't even know existed until yesterday!) to a family reunion. Poor Chris caught the stomach bug that has been worming its way through the family and couldn't join us! We had a great time...stopped at Concord Mills on the way up which is always interesting on a Saturday! Caroline enjoyed meeting all her relatives...especially when we stopped at Aunt Ruth's house on the way. Aunt Ruth has this recliner that will elevate you to a standing position so you don't have to work to get up out of it when you're elderly or have health problems. Caroline sat in it and Aunt Ruth ejected her from the chair, and she could not for the life of her figure out what had just happened. It was hilarious! Mom and Dad sang to Caroline on the way home to help her drift off to sleep which was precious. Caroline is busy, busy, busy these days. She's always into something and talking up a storm. Her favorite phrase is "bye, bye see ya later!"

Caroline's Trip to the Urgent Care

Tonight we were having dinner with my friend from college, Will, when Caroline popped her elbow out. We had to take her to the Urgent Care to get it popped back into place. They gave her this new sling that she loves. It has dinosaurs on it. Thankfully she's feeling a little better and sleeping peacefully now. Chris and I are off to shower all the germs from the Swine Flu that were floating around the Urgent Care...yuck!!!

Wild Women of Cherokee Lakes

Caroline sure has a good time when Ella Grace and Huiet Ann come to play!

Labor Day Weekend

Labor Day weekend was full of plenty of fun.  Chris and my dad took one of Chris’ co-workers down to Charleston to do some off-shore fishing.  Caroline and I enjoyed some time in the park with Grandma, Grammy, Aunt Mel and Michael.

Swinging Climbing GliderSlide

Aunt Kim stopped by for a quick visit with some of her friends on their way back from Charleston.  How come everybody but us went to Charleston for the weekend?  Apparently we didn’t get the memo!
