Caroline's New Dress

Check out Caroline's new dress that I made for her. Grammy did a great job on seeing my design through with the great embroidery job!She wanted to show everyone the new bloomers I made for her...ha!She's giving me her best horse impression!

Too sweet!

The Twins Turn 1!!!

Caroline's best friends, Ella Grace and Huiet Ann turned 1 over the weekend. Here is my dear friend, Fran, the twins' mommy with Caroline and Ella Grace at the big party! This is Fran's sister, Leslie. I think Caroline really took up with her since she's Fran's identical twin! She felt like she knew her!
Here is Huiet Ann with Pops.
Poor Ella Grace came down with an ear infection and was so wiped out!
Huiet Ann is staring intently at Caroline playing!
Poor Ella Grace did not really feel like eating her cake!
But, Huiet Ann did!
She even had it all over her cup!
Fun times!

Quack, Quack Goes the Duck

Caroline loves to quack like a duck, and she has the cutest duck outfit. There is a little duck on her pants and ducks all over the inside of her jacket with a matching headband. Too adorable! She thought she should model it for everyone in cyberspace. It just so happened that the day Caroline wore her duck outfit the twins wore a duck outfit, too!
Ella Grace is trying so hard to get Caroline's cup!

Update on the Play Fortress

Here is the update on the progress of the mighty play fortress. Construction is nearly complete! Chris, Granddougie and Papaw Mike were hard at work over the weekend. Still to come...there will be two tarps going over the top of the two platforms, a sandbox under the lower platform, and two slides coming off the opposite side you are viewing. This is the awesome picnic table Chris made last night! We can't wait to use it!Here you can see the two play platforms.Surprise, surprise...Caroline has already learned to climb all the way up the big ladder all by herself. It makes me so nervous!!! Of course we're always standing right there to catch her!She loves climbing up and running around the platform!
This is the swing beam that will eventually house 4 swings so that she can have lots of friends over to play! She was so excited about her new swing!
This swing is really for older toddlers, but she really wanted to get in it, so we let her. She didn't realize that she needs to wait and ask Mommy or Daddy to help her out when she's finished. Instead she tried to eject herself and wound up swinging completely upside down. Thank goodness for the safety belt. She is SUCH a daredevil!
All that playing made for one tired little girl!

15 Months!!!

I know I say this every month, but I can't believe how fast Caroline is growing up! She is cutting 2 more molars right now which has not been pleasant, but that puts us up to 12 teeth! She is such a sweet little girl and very smart...at least I think so. I know it's not polite to brag (but what else are moms supposed to do???), but she can say over 40 words that at least I will recognize what she's saying after she says them a few times (now the rest of you may not know what she's saying!). She can point to 12 body parts, knows 7 signs in sign language and can make the sounds for 8 different animals! She never misses a beat! We go for her well check on Wednesday, so hopefully everything will be OK. She is scheduled for her big VCUG test in April. This is the one she had done last year that I am dreading because she's not going to understand why they're poking and prodding. We pray the test will reveal that she is outgrowing her renal reflux so that she won't need surgery. Here she is reading her Bible...never mind that it's upside down!

Aunt Kim Comes to Visit

Aunt Kim came home for a quick visit before heading out to Jamaica on spring break. Hopefully she will enjoy her trip even though she came down with tonsilitis!Dickson came home for the weekend, too!Fun times with Granddougie......and Grandma! We decided to take Aunt Kim to Fun Zone to show her how much Caroline likes it! Look at those faces!!!

This is such a flattering picture. Thanks, Kim!
Caroline loves to go down the slide by herself even though I'm afraid she looks like she might take flight on that thing!
