Random January 2009 Pics

Here are some random pictures from the last week or so. Caroline is all dressed up waiting to go to Sunday School, her favorite activity! This is her first ponytail. Just like the hairbows we're still working on getting her to leave it alone!Caroline's cousin came for a visit! She's trying to figure out where his belly is!

A Day at the Zoo with Granddougie

After Granddougie finished his weekly chemo he skipped across the interstate and met us at the zoo. We enjoyed a nice afternoon of 65 degree weather...not bad for January (sorry to rub it in for those of you from the North). Caroline enjoyed helping to feed the birds for the first time!

Riding the carousel is so much fun!
Caroline signed to me that the cow was eating!
Caroline was more focused on the bird flying over her head!We met a new friend while waiting for the tram. We shared our puffs with her since her mommy forgot to bring some.Crossing over the river in the tram...
Caroline and I had fun sticking our heads through the holes at the botanical gardens! :)

Caroline and I are sharing a good laugh!

Waiting on the tram again...

Caroline is waving at the people walking by the tram...my little social butterfly!

Caroline's Love Affair with Oranges

Blizzard of '09

If there's one four letter word that causes more controversy in the state of South Carolina it's "snow." The mere mention of the word sends people into panic. They cancelled school and work for many people today all for a few wet flakes. We enjoyed our little blizzard, though. As you can see, we started the day off with some interesting hair! I'm not quite sure what happened to it last night. I think I didn't do such a great job at combing it after her bath, so she slept on it weird. At least that's the story I'm sticking with for now! :)Mommy made snowman pancakes for breakfast to celebrate the big snow!
Then, we bundled up and headed outside!

She's mad here because she can't pick up the dog's tennis ball to throw it for him thanks to her mittens!
I think Vedder was trying to lick the snow off her face.
