It was time to start decorating for Christmas, so Caroline thought she would help out.
Doesn’t she look like one of the American Girl dolls?
She was trying to be sneaky and climb up the ladder.
Later that afternoon we ventured over to Harmon’s Tree Farm to cut down our Christmas tree. They had so many fun things for Caroline to do. They had swings shaped like reindeer…
…a Goat Town where the goats would climb up to this platform and you could send them food up via a bucket on a rope. They had lots of other neat animals, too.
Caroline’s favorite part was riding the train.
Searching for the perfect tree…
Poor Caroline kept complaining for a long time about sand spurs. She is terrified of them after our recent trip to Edisto where we were constantly covered in them. We kept laughing telling her that we left the sand spurs at the beach. She got tired of walking, so Chris picked her up and got poked by…sure enough…SAND SPURS. Bless her heart. She knew what she was talking about. We spent the rest of the afternoon dodging the pesky little things!
After ridding ourselves of the sand spurs we finally found the perfect tree!
And Daddy cut it down!
Waiting for the train to come back and pick us up with our tree!

Standing by the decorated tree before the pathetic excuse of a football game! :)
