35 Weeks
It's hard to believe Caroline turned 8 months old yesterday! She has been all over the house and into EVERYTHING this week. The funniest thing she did the other day was when she leaned over, tooted real loud then said, "Dada." Oh yeah...you know her daddy was proud! :)

Look Who's Walking!
Here's Caroline taking a few steps. She was only walking a few steps between Mommy and Daddy, but after this was filmed she started walking a little from Daddy to other places in the room! Just a few steps, but it won't be long before she takes off! :)

The Truth Comes Out!
Ah ha...so she can crawl! Chris discovered the other day that Caroline would crawl if we weren't in the room, but if we were in the room she expected us to help her walk everywhere--her preferred means of mobility. She finally let us see her crawl. She gets around fast!

Recipes
Ok...as promised here are two of Mommy's most popular recipes to make for company. More recipes to come later. Sorry there are no exact measurements...cooking is an art, right? :)
Baked Spaghetti
-Spaghetti Noodles, cooked (just estimate based on how many people you are serving)
-Jar of Spaghetti sauce
-Can of Cream of Mushroom Soup
-Cheese...lots of cheese...usually around 8 ounces total. Use mostly Sharp, but if you have some Mozzarella and Provolone throw that in, too.
-Pepperoni
Mix the spaghetti sauce and cream of mushroom soup together in a bowl. Set aside. In a 13 x 9 pan line the bottom with half of your baked spaghetti noodles. Top with half of the spaghetti sauce mixture. Then put a layer of pepperoni followed by half your cheese. Repeat layers making sure you have plenty of cheese on top! :) Bake at 350 uncovered for 3o minutes.
Kelly's Famous Fruit Salad
-Can of Pineapple Chunks, UNDRAINED
-Can of Fruit Cocktail, DRAINED
-Can of Mandarin Oranges, DRAINED
-Small package of Vanilla Pudding
-Chopped Nuts
-Shredded Coconut
Mix all of this together in a large bowl...make sure not to drain the pineapple. Just throw in however many nuts and coconut you want to give it a good texture. Place in the fridge for a few hours to let the pudding thicken up and to get it nice and cold. Sometimes I change the fruit. If I have fresh stuff I just throw it all in there...whatever's in the kitchen! It's the pudding, nuts and coconut that make it taste so good.
Enjoy!
